This Privacy Policy explains how IntoTheEye Ent. (“IntoTheEye Ent.”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects and uses information in the ReFinEd application.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently.

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

Email address (for authentication and communication)
Display name (chosen by you)
Password (encrypted and never stored in plain text)

We automatically collect information about how you use ReFinEd:

Lessons completed and quiz scores
Portfolio simulation activities (virtual trades)
AI chat conversations (for improving the service)
Login timestamps and session duration

Device type and operating system
Cookies and similar tracking technologies

2.4 Google OAuth Data

If you sign in with Google, we receive:

Your Google email address
Your Google profile name and photo (if you choose to share)
A unique Google user ID

We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, or other Google services.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

Provide the Service: Account management, lesson tracking, portfolio simulation

Improve ReFinEd: Analyze usage patterns to enhance features

Google AI (Gemini): Powers our AI Expert Chat feature

Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure. We use industry-standard security measures including:

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights and Choices

6.1 Access and Update

You can access and update your account information through your profile settings.

6.2 Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and data by contacting [email protected]. We will delete your data within 30 days, except where required by law to retain it.

6.3 Opt-Out of Communications

You can opt out of promotional emails by clicking “unsubscribe” in any email. We will still send critical account-related messages.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

7. Children’s Privacy

ReFinEd is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

Users under 18 should use ReFinEd with parental supervision, as the Service contains financial education content.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country of residence. By using ReFinEd, you consent to such transfers.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
